How we check provider information
We separate published facts from assumptions and distinguish consumer brands from the firms that arrange or underwrite their products.
Roles stay separate
Brand, insurer, broker, comparison service, distributor and telematics partner are not collapsed into one generic “provider”.
Unknown remains unknown
Absence from a marketing page is not evidence that a feature is unavailable. The record tells the reader what still needs checking.
No pay-to-rank
Directory results remain alphabetical. Commercial relationships cannot purchase position or a better factual description.
Dated observations
Every record displays when its linked source was reviewed. The current page remains authoritative over this snapshot.
Corrections are evidenced
A correction should identify the field, replacement fact and a primary source. Material changes belong in the next release history.
Inclusion rule
Public UK routes with a published young-driver, new-driver, learner, telematics or temporary-cover proposition, plus principal comparison services.
What has not been done
- A listing is a research route, not evidence that a provider will quote for a particular person or vehicle.
- Public product pages were reviewed; this release is not a policy-wording audit or quote-acceptance test.
- Unknown or provider-dependent details are left visible rather than inferred.
- Brand, broker, comparison service, distributor and underwriting insurer are recorded as different roles.
